Sari Tani Desa Sdn. Bhd. is a bumiputera herbal product manufacturer in Shah Alam, Selangor, founded in 1977 by Tuan Haji Sheikh Mohsin bin Sheikh Marie. It is GMP certified for traditional products, recognised by JAKIM as a halal manufacturer, and provides OEM manufacturing, formulation, herb supply and grinding, and product registration.

We make capsules (bottles and blisters), creams (tubes and jars), ointments, lotions, external liquids, oral liquids, powders (sachets, tea bags and jars), inhalers, herbal teas, oils and personal care products.

Yes. Your formula will be reviewed for ingredient suitability, dosage form and registration requirements. If you don't have one yet, our team can develop it with you.

Yes. We supply herbs such as black seed, tongkat ali, kacip fatimah, manjakani, gambir and misai kucing as raw plant material or powder.

Yes. You can send your own raw herbs for us to grind, or contract a grinding service where we handle the process from the start.

Yes. We help with MAL registration for traditional products (oral and external), external OTC product registration and cosmetic notification (NOT) with the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA).

A MAL number is given to registered products such as traditional medicines, OTC products and health supplements, with the final letter showing the category (for example T for traditional and X for OTC). Cosmetics are notified to NPRA and carry a cosmetic notification number.

Product registration status can be checked through the product search on NPRA's official site (npra.gov.my) by product name, registration number or manufacturer.
